The first Mudder’s Day Madness Mud Run held at Montvale took place the day before Mother’s Day 2013. Some things change, others stay the same, and the best things just get better. The 12th annual Mud Run is on the day before Mother’s Day, May 11th, 2024, and the course spans across Montvale’s muddiest trails with more than 25 obstacles adding to the challenge and accomplishment.
Traditionally, the event includes over twenty different obstacles, rolling trails on a marked course, and even a dip in the lake! We raised the stakes in 2022 and extended the 5K course to an optional 10K length with six more obstacles for only the toughest and bravest competitors to attempt.
From Adversity Hill to the Tire Traverse and the A-Frame Climb, runners of all ages can race independently or with a team. Costumes are encouraged and the most creative could win a prize! Vendors, music, and refreshments will be onsite for participants and their fans, friends, and families to enjoy along with the beautiful views.
The money raised from the event will support Harmony’s therapeutic programming at Camp Montvale which includes our equine therapy program and therapeutic camps for foster and adoptive children and families.
