SUMMARY:Duck Pond Fishing Derby for Kids
DESCRIPTION:This event for ages 3-15 is held in sponsorship with Parks & Rec\, TWRA\, Wal-Mart\, Appalachian Dental\, Alcoa Fishing Team\, Clarkmore Lending – Holly Clark\, and other area organizations. Trophies are awarded in each age division for the largest fish and the most fish caught. Overall event winner for each category will receive a trophy as well. All participants receive a goody bag\, free shaved ice\, and are eligible to win door prizes including a grand prize. A freeplay games will also be available after weigh-in. Cost is $8 by 1 pm Friday\, June 7. $12 day of event. Register or find more details at https://www.parksrec.com/special-events/fishing-derby or in the Parks & Rec Admin office.
