DESCRIPTION:In 1974\, the Blount County Friends of the Library began its journey to support the Blount County Public Library. A celebration of the last 50 years will culminate in a Golden Anniversary event you won’t want to miss! On October 25th\, we’ll be partnering withPellissippi State Community College Culinary and Hospitality departments to host our 50th Anniversary Celebration.\nThe event will take place at the West Building on Pellissippi’s Blount Campus on Lamar Alexander in Friendsville. Food and some specially created mocktails will be provided. We will also have music from a well-known cellist. The event will begin at 6:00 PM and go until 9:00 PM.\nIn addition\, we will begin a Silent Auction on Clickbid one week before the event. The auction items will go live on October 17th and close the night of the event.
