Paid Winter Manufacturing Internships for Young Adults
Program begins February 2
Now accepting applications for a paid manufacturing training and internship program running February 2 โ€“ March 13. This opportunity is designed for young adults ages 17โ€“30 who want to explore careers in modern manufacturing.
What interns receive (funded by the Arconic Foundation):
โ€ข Earn up to $1,500
โ€ข 100 paid hours with a local manufacturing company
โ€ข 15 paid half-days of Workforce Readiness Training
โ€ข 3 paid half-days of career planning, placement, and graduation
โ€ข Certificate of program completion
โ€ข Opportunity to earn a nationally recognized Certified Manufacturing Associate credential through Tooling U-SME
What youโ€™ll gain:
โ€ข Hands-on manufacturing experience
โ€ข Technology and transferable workplace skills
โ€ข Resume development, references, and interview preparation
โ€ข A clear pathway to employment or continued education
Program outcomes:
โ€ข 75% of participants secure full-time employment
โ€ข 25% transition to postsecondary education or training
