‘The Time is Now!’

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration inspires community

Blount County came together once again to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. This year’s theme was, “The time is always right to do what is right! The Time is Now!” The celebration spanned several days, including a business luncheon on Jan. 16, a worship service, and a march from the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Alcoa to Maryville College on Jan. 19.
