Paid Winter Manufacturing Internships for Young Adults
Program begins February 2
Now accepting applications for a paid manufacturing training and internship program running February 2 โ March 13. This opportunity is designed for young adults ages 17โ30 who want to explore careers in modern manufacturing.
What interns receive (funded by the Arconic Foundation):
โข Earn up to $1,500
โข 100 paid hours with a local manufacturing company
โข 15 paid half-days of Workforce Readiness Training
โข 3 paid half-days of career planning, placement, and graduation
โข Certificate of program completion
โข Opportunity to earn a nationally recognized Certified Manufacturing Associate credential through Tooling U-SME
What youโll gain:
โข Hands-on manufacturing experience
โข Technology and transferable workplace skills
โข Resume development, references, and interview preparation
โข A clear pathway to employment or continued education
Program outcomes:
โข 75% of participants secure full-time employment
โข 25% transition to postsecondary education or training
