In this class, students will get to play with clay to create a delightful pinch pot monster. NO experience required. All ages from 8+ are welcome!
Come get your hands muddy as you create a unique and delightful monster that can be friendly, ferocious, or whatever your creativity prefers. Students will be guided step-by-step, by Tracie! Participants will each get soft clay and use your hands to create each component of your masterpiece, then connect each portion to create your unique monster. You will get to add color with underglaze. The completed clay will then be left at the studio to dry where our staff will fire it in our kiln, then dip it in a clear glaze to make it shiny, and refire in the kiln again.
Each masterpiece will then be prepared for pick-up after approximately 2-3 weeks. Each participant will be called to be notified that their creation is ready!
Recommended age 8+
Price: $40 includes all materials and instruction + 4.5% booking fee per attendee (due at time of registration to save your spot).
