Preserving the Harvest: Canning 101 Class!

Join us June 24th from 10am-1pm for Preserving the Harvest: Canning 101! This is a new class offering taught by instructor Kristen Webber! In this class, you will learn all about water bath canning and get hands-on experience canning a seasonal recipe! Safe canning procedures, canning equipment, and materials needed and where to purchase will all be covered. This is an in-depth, hands-on look at water bath canning. Students should wear closed-toe shoes, and long-sleeved shirts, and expect to be standing for the duration of the class. Students will prepare a food item then can it and leave with at least 2 jars of canned food. No experience is required! The best part is that all equipment and materials are provided including the food!
