Have you always wanted to learn how to sew using an upholstery method, or renew your sewing skills? This is the class for you! Come learn how to sew a reusable Memory Board. Use fabric with coordinating ribbon and matching buttons to create a one of a kind memory and message board for your front door mail center, home office, desk, or bedroom. All materials will be provided. However, if the registrant would like to bring their own fabric, then they will need: 1/2 yard cotton, about 3 yards of coordinating ribbon and 5 matching buttons. Finished size 16×20.
This class is designed for the older, beginner and open to people ages 8 and up.
All class supplies, notions, and equipment will be provided. A variety of fabrics in all colors and prints will be available to choose from and is included in the class fee.
Our Instructor, Miranda, has decades of teaching experience with both kids and adults. She loves sharing her talents with others- especially in Appalachian heritage crafts and sewing.
All materials provided, including sewing machines and fabric. Students may optionally choose to bring their own fabric if desired.
This is a 2 hour, beginner class, but available to all skill levels.
