5:30 Meet and Greet
6:00-8:00 Presentation
You are quietly meandering down a mountain trail listening to the chirping of birds on distant tree limbs. Little forest critters scamper through the fallen leaves as the wind rustles through native grasses and branches of trees blowing more leaves onto your trail. The euphony of sound becomes music … a symphony to your ears.
How do you creatively translate these sounds, subtle smells, and emotions into a moving musical composition?
On Friday, April 5, 2024, singer/songwriter Will Kruger will share some of his songs and professional hints for translating your emotions and stories into songs of the trail and the mountains of East Tennessee.
“Will’s songs share a style that recalls many of his earliest folk music influences, among them, Peter, Paul and Mary, Simon and Garfunkel, Gordon Lightfoot, and James Taylor and John Denver, in particular.”
Feel welcome to bring your guitar, mandolin, dulcimer, cello, whatever you play, and join us as we “jam out” with Will Kruger and learn the gift of songwriting.
