Learn how to needle felt a fly agaric mushroom in this beginner friendly class. You will learn how to add canvas to your frame, how the felting process works, differences in the types of wool, tips on adding layers and cleaning edges. You will also learn a bit about the fungi world and fly agarics from your host who is a mushroom enthusiast.
Take home a 6″ frame finished to hang. All supplies are included. If time and skill permits, embroidery may be added. Needle felting is a fun and relaxing art form that allows for mistakes to be made and easily adjusted! Ages 12 and up due to sharp needles. Class length 2.5-3 hours.
