AJAYE (“A.J.”), spends her time in her home of Nashville TN fitting the truth into a three minute package. Inspired by artists like Brandi Carlile and Shawn Colvin, her writing lives between modern folk and Americana and explores the every day in an extraordinary way. Born in a small town in British Columbia, Canada, her inspiration comes from growing out of what was expected of her to carve her own path in life.
Earning a name performing in the Nashville club scene, including regular performances at the legendary Bluebird Cafe, AJAYE is an award-winning artist who has built a solid reputation as an outstanding vocalist and songwriter both in Canada, the United States and Europe. She was awarded the 2019 British Columbia Country Female Artist of the Year, has performed on Today in Nashville and CTV Morning Live, is an endorsed artist with AMI Guitars and Lanikai Ukuleles, and performs regularly across North America and Europe. FOOD OPTIONS (when weather permits) pre-show starting at 6:00pm, we will be grilling burgers outside on the deck with all the dressings! The suggested donation to cover cost and help keep this an option is $15 a plate, which includes sides such as baked beans and potato salad. Ticket buyers will receive a cookout/weather update email and show reminder 2 days before the show asking you to reply with your RSVP if you’d like to join us for the pre-show cookout.
