Come learn a traditional useful handcraft taught by the wonderful Liza Bach! You can evolve this into your own art form! You will be taught the basics of working on a cardboard loom.
Sometimes called lap weaving, this is a highly portable form of the craft. Once learned, the skills can be expanded or made smaller to create things like wall hangings, rugs, pillows, blankets, clothing, handbags, and tiny necklace bags! These skills can also be used later with frame looms!
As an added bonus the cost of the class includes a weaving kit including tools, yarn and book! The joy of this weaving form is that it does not require expensive equipment!
Event Location: Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center
