Public Notice: Alcoa Comprehensive Plan Open House
Help Shape the Future of Alcoa
The City of Alcoa invites residents, business owners, property owners, students, and community stakeholders to attend an Open House for the Alcoa Comprehensive Planning Process. It’s time to revisit the current comprehensive plan and set our path for the next 20 years.
The City is developing a new Comprehensive Plan to guide future growth, transportation, housing, economic development, community facilities, and quality of life throughout Alcoa. As part of this effort, the City is also preparing two supporting planning documents: an Alcoa Schools Master Plan and a Parks Master Plan. These plans will help establish a shared vision for Alcoa’s future and identify priorities for investment and improvement over the coming years.

The Open House will provide an opportunity to:
1. Learn about the Comprehensive Plan, Schools Master Plan, and Parks Master Plan.
2. Review existing conditions and key community trends.
3. Discuss transportation, housing, parks, schools, economic development, and community character.
4. Help identify opportunities, challenges, and a long-term vision for the community.
Community participation is critical to ensuring these plans reflect the values and priorities of Alcoa residents. Attendees may arrive at any time during the Open House and participate at their own pace.
