Welcome the Sugaree String Society to the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center for our first Sunset Series concert of the season!
Sugaree blends bluegrass tradition, high lonesome sound, and contemporary folk storytelling into a performance that is both powerful and deeply engaging. Led by Jodi Jones and Brendan Macie, the duo pairs defiant wit, rich musicality, and mountain banjo with songs that invite listeners to reflect, connect, and experience roots music in a meaningful new way.
