Join us on April 25th, as we welcome back to the Dancing Bear Event Stage, the great Sam Bush and band! With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Sam Bush has earned his title as the “Father of Newgrass” – ushering the genre into mainstream music. From picking up the mandolin at age 11 and winning awards for his fiddle skills at just 15 years old, to founding the progressive bluegrass group New Grass Revival, over the years Bush has collected many awards for his major role in bluegrass music. These include the AMA Lifetime Achievement for Instrumentalist and IBMA’s Mandolin Player of the year 4 times. In addition, Bush has 3 Grammy’s under his belt and many more nominations. We are excited to welcome back Sam Bush Band to Live on the Lawn at Dancing Bear and hope you will join us for a fantastic evening of musical and culinary excellence!
