Join us as we step back in time for the annual Winter Heritage Festival at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center! You’ll experience hands-on demonstrations, practice pioneer survival skills, and get a sense of how challenging life was during pioneer times!
Learn a new craft, see historic artifacts, and learn about the weapons the pioneers used to survive in the Southern Appalachian region.
Experience the history of East Tennessee Mountain culture by practicing some of the daily tasks of the pioneers. Living History interpreters and volunteers will be on site hosting activities and games.
