Dr. Danielle Lincoln has been a wildlife educator for over 6 years, getting their start with the late great Clinch River Raptor Center. Her red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis), Jessie, was injured as a juvenile when the tree they were perched in was cut down, and they broke their wrist. With the way the bone broke and healed, they are unable to fly anymore and have been a wildlife ambassador ever since. The pair have done programs in libraries, schools (all levels), medieval reenactment events, fairs of all kinds, and stores, and are always happy to spread appreciation for the beauty of these living dinosaurs!
