In this class, students will create an irresistibly charming 2-dimensional needle felted American flag and embroider some fun delails highlighting our Nations 250th birthday. You will learn techniques and tips for building texture and dimension with wool fibers, as well as simple embroidery stitches to bring the background to life. The finished piece is mounted in a hoop trimmed with ribbon — ready to hang and enjoy the moment you walk out the door.
Your instructor, Alicia, has years of experience and runs her own Etsy shop, Foothills Fiberworks. All materials and instruction will be provided.
