Join Keep Blount Beautiful, City of Alcoa, and City of Maryville for the annual Pistol Creek Cleanup and Brown Creek Cleanup! These events will happen concurrently, so volunteers should select a cleanup location when registering. Volunteers should register for this event to select a cleanup location and receive reminders and updates.
All litter supplies will be provided. Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and comfortable clothes that can get dirty. All litter supplies will be provided. Most volunteers will clean areas surrounding the creek to prevent litter from entering the creek through stormwater runoff. However, there is the option to get in the creek.
This event is in celebration of the Greatest American Cleanup, a Keep America Beautiful initiative to help create a cleaner, greener community.
