Stinson was a founding and lifetime member of The Replacements, a key second-generation ingredient in Guns N’ Roses and served a seven-year tenure with Soul Asylum. He also led two essential bands of his own — the aptly named Bash & Pop and Perfect.
Stinson’s sound remains rooted in raw garage-rock and basement pop, blended with Americana overtones. He describes his current style as an evolution of the punk and alternative legacy he built with The Replacements and Guns N’ Roses, leaning into intimate, rootsier performances alongside projects like Cowboys in the Campfire.
